And yeah, I'm sure Gronk was just over NE by the time he left. They had refused to give him the contract extension he wanted for years, which was pretty defensible since he was always hurt but definitely left some bad blood. Couldn't quite do all of his Gronk branding stuff in NE either.

no one does. he sucks all the fun out of it. winning isn't everything, contracts are more important than winning to these players in every sport.
